I stayed for a couple of nights at Sheraton Birmingham, and my experience was pretty mixed. The hotel itself was clean, and I found my room spacious and comfortable. However, the service I received was pretty disappointing, particularly from the front desk, which really didn’t reflect what I’d expect from a Sheraton. The dining options were limited, especially since the lounge was closed during my stay.
Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious and clean, but I noticed some issues with the carpet being stained and a bit outdated. Overall, it was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep.
Service
5.0
The front desk staff seemed unfriendly and unhelpful. I had a hard time checking in and couldn’t get a late checkout, which is a perk I was hoping to use as a Titanium Elite. It felt like they didn't really care about accommodating my requests.
Location

The hotel was connected to the BJCC, making it super convenient for attending events. However, the access paths were not always operational, which made it less convenient than I anticipated.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were pretty disappointing. The lounge was closed, and when I checked the restaurant, the prices seemed high for what was on offer. I ended up having to go out for meals.
Facilities
5.0
The amenities were basic, and the absence of a proper dining area was a letdown. I noticed issues with the elevators as well, which added to my frustrations during the stay.

My stay at Sheraton Birmingham was a mixed bag. The location was perfect for attending events at the BJCC, but the outdated room and high prices really detracted from the experience. While the staff was friendly and attentive, the overall value for money felt lacking. 🏨😔

I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered good options, but the overall dining experience was hit or miss in terms of value.

While the facilities were adequate, some areas, like the elevators, seemed to lack maintenance. The noise was also a bit bothersome at times.

I chose the Sheraton Birmingham due to its convenient location and reputation, but my stay was disappointing. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the cleanliness and condition of the facilities left much to be desired. I had high expectations for a Marriott brand hotel, yet I encountered issues with the pool being closed and room service options being limited.
Rooms
5.0
While the room was clean and well-maintained, I experienced issues with the room temperature not being adjustable below 68 degrees. Additionally, I had a bad view of the interstate, which was disappointing given the price I paid.
Service
6.0
The reception staff were quite friendly and accommodating, making interactions pleasant. However, the overall customer service quality varied significantly, especially during busy times.
Location

The location was excellent for visiting the BJCC, as it provided convenient access. However, navigating the area was complicated due to ongoing construction near the hotel.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited and not as impressive as expected based on the price of the stay. I experienced disappointment with the food quality available on-site.
Facilities
5.0
Unfortunately, the facilities did not meet my expectations. The pool was under construction, and I had to seek alternate arrangements to access a pool, which should have been communicated more effectively.

During my recent stay, the room was spacious and clean with a comfortable king bed. however, the service could certainly be improved, especially at check-in. I experienced delays and struggles with the front desk staff. The hotel's location next to the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex was a definite plus.

There was only one dining option available, serving breakfast and lunch, and the prices were a bit high for what was offered. I didn't get to experience dinner options since the lounge was closed.
Facilities

The hotel had useful amenities, but the response time from the front desk could be better, considering the costs associated with parking and dining options. Valet service was a highlight, though.

During my stay at Sheraton Birmingham, I noticed that the staff was consistently friendly and the valet service was great, making my experience quite pleasant. However, I was also faced with some issues, like the outdated room I got and the lengthy waits for the limited elevators. The location is great for accessing the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex, which is a big plus if you're attending an event.
